Aims of the Negotiations Workshop
is to enable participants to conduct effective negotiations: either for business, governmental organisations or in personal situations such as career advancement and salary negotiations. The course covers the whole communication process from the stage when you are planning your proposal to successful closure.
The course not only covers the correct English language for successful negotiations but also practical soft skills such as body language. It also deals with psychological aspects such as understanding your strengths and weaknesses. The course is practice based and focuses on the effective use of communication tools: verbal, written and visual.
This is a one-to-one negotiation skills training course using the “personal coaching” format. We start by assessing your needs, understanding your negotiations experience and analysing your current skill set. The course will teach you how to become a successful, confident negotiator able to produce positive outcomes for your company and for yourself personally.
The trainer will give help, feedback, tips and guidance in all skill areas and you will be encouraged to develop your own negotiations style focusing on your specific situations: sales negotiations, sourcing negotiations or executive level negotiations for business investment financing, IPO's and M&A's (Mergers and Acquisitions), etc. Assertiveness and handling objections is included.
The course uses HKEnglish.com’s bespoke professional negotiations training materials along with video resources and textbooks.
